The original recipes give us important directions: from the beginning, the Vermouth Rosso had the peculiarity of being made with red wine – this is quite unique, and the standard red vermouth are made with white wine and red coloring. For the Vermouth Bianco, the formula is more classic and include aromatic Moscato, while the Extra Dry requires drier and less aromatic white wines .
Selected Spices
Chazalettes has the advantage of being made by winemakers, not only botanists– the Bava Family produces Moscato, but also Barbera, Gavi, Barolo, Nebbiolo, Chardonnay, Malvasia and many more. We have full control of production from vineyard to bottle, and a centenary experience in dealing with wine and creating the perfect balance of wines for every vermouth.
