Tequila Ocho
Tequila OCHO is the only SINGLE ESTATE TEQUILA on the market that harvests its agaves from different single estates at different altitudes in different microclimates delivering vintages of tequila that differ in aroma and flavor one from the other, while still retaining tequila OCHOS’s distinguishable identity. Because it takes our agaves 7-10 years to mature, each vintage will only be seen once a decade (or even less often) making each one rare and collectible.
We are the first brand to bring this concept to market and have done so to demonstrate the incredible depth and breadth of flavor and aroma the agave brings to tequila.
Tequila OCHO Origins
Made by the Camarena Family exclusively from their own agave fields. The Camarena family started making tequila in 1937 and are now in their third generation as tequila producers. This family is one of the few producers that still makes tequila in the slow, artisanal way.
All tequila made by the Camarena family is produced exclusively from agave from their own fields. The family have only ever made 100% agave tequila.
Tequila OCHO is a joint partnership between the Camarena’s and Tomas Estes, who has been selling and promoting tequila in his Mexican bars and restaurants since 1976, and has gained recognition and respect throughout the worldwide bar and spirits community for his work promoting tequila, agave spirits and Mexican culture in Europe.
